MyUtilities is an offline-first Android app for property and utility accounting. It is designed to help users manage properties, leases, meter readings, invoices, payments, exports, and backups without requiring account registration or a developer-operated sync backend.
Depending on how you use the app, MyUtilities may process the following information:
MyUtilities primarily stores app data locally on your device using platform storage mechanisms such as Room and DataStore. We do not operate our own backend for syncing your property or utility data.
If Android backup or device-to-device transfer is enabled on your device, some app data may also be copied by standard platform backup or migration services for restore purposes. Secret data, recovery-related material, and internal auto-backup files may be excluded where applicable.
We use information processed by the app to provide app functionality, including:
Core accounting and record-keeping flows are designed to work offline. Internet access is used only where needed for Google Play Billing operations (such as purchase, entitlement verification, and restore) and for required platform services.
Payments for Pro features are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your app content with our own backend because we do not operate one for syncing user data.
Limited information may be processed by third-party platform providers only where necessary to deliver app functionality, such as Google Play for billing-related operations and Android platform services for backup, restore, or notifications, depending on your device configuration and permissions.
The production version of MyUtilities does not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs by default.
CAMERA: used only if you choose OCR-assisted meter reading input.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: used only if you allow reminders or backup-related notifications.USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: used only if you enable device-local app protection.INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used for Google Play Billing connectivity and required platform services.Because MyUtilities is primarily an offline app and does not require an account, data entered into the app remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage, uninstall the app, or remove exported or backup files that you created.
We do not maintain a server-side copy of your in-app accounting data.
We use platform-provided storage and security mechanisms where applicable. Optional app protection features such as PIN, pattern, or biometric lock are processed on the device. Encrypted backup features, when used, require user action.
MyUtilities is a general property and utility management application and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page.
